Marisa joined with Dad, Carson and Brady to go skiing (Marisa and Dad) and snowboarding (Brady and Carson). The weather was really nice; blue skies and 50 degrees on the mountain. We put on plenty of sunscreen before heading for the slopes.
Marisa learned fairly quickly. After a brief lesson by her Dad, her first run down the mountain she went straight down (without much in the way of brakes :) ). After going full speed to catch up to her and slow her down, we took the next few runs at a little slower pace.
After lunch Marisa decided she had learned enough about skiing to where she felt comfortable going at a little quicker pace. By the end of the day, it was all I could do to keep up with her. We all had a great time, and Marisa is looking forward to next year.
