I got snowshoes for Christmas and wanted to give them a try. My friend and neighbor Rex Amendola led the way up Lake Mountain. We enjoyed the spectacular views and the workout. Here is Rex on top overlooking Eagle Mountain.

On our way home from Las Vegas, I met Tani in Lehi and we went to Marie Osmond's Christmas concert. It was a good performance. During one of her songs she came out into the audience and shook hands. Instead of shaking my hand, she kissed the top of my head.
While her brothers were getting autographs from the football players, Marisa got her picture with Cosmo.

Saturday Tani and I took Brady to Jeffrey Searle's Birthday party in Salt Lake, and then we went to Rodizio Grill, a Brazilian steak house. After dinner Tani and I attended the Hale Center performance of A Christmas Carol. Sunday night Tani opened her presents. Here she is with her Cricut machine.
Tonight was the Jr High choir program. Marisa hasn't been feeling well and went to bed as soon as she arrived home from school. Tonight she felt poorly but she went anyways since attendance at the concert is a significant part of their grade. The performances were good and Marisa did well. Afterwards we ran into Nate Powell whose daughter was also performing.

Carson's birthday is today. He is 15 already. When I came home from work Carson asked me how soon he could get his driving permit. Tani and I are still getting used to Kyle driving and soon enough we'll have another driver.

The football team had their end of the season banquet tonight. The varsity struggled in their second season in 4A. Kyle played on the JV, which ended their season around .500.
