I finally got my scrapbook program up and running again so I thought I'd update my blog with pages I have done. These pages are from my 100 year old Grandpa's funeral. We miss you Grandpa!
I was trying to come up with a name for our new car.....yes we do name them! I was sitting at the funeral home with my dad making arrangements for my grandpa's funeral. My dad was stating his dad's name which is Ralph Casper Whittle.....the thought popped into my head that Casper was the perfect name for my car! So in honor of my Grandpa.....Casper it is!!!!
For Brady's birthday (the day before) he and his cousins Carter & Trevor went to a mini camp where they got to work with some of the BYU players and meet them. They were able to get a picture and autographs from Jake Heaps. They thought this was pretty fun even though it snowed for the event. They were really wet but had a great time.
My niece Tayah calls Rapunzel (from the movie Tangled) Frapunzel. I had the little cousins over for a movie party complete with matching pj's, popcorn, candy and lots of fun.
We have added another vehicle to our family. Kyle bought our little red pickup from us and we replaced it with a 2008 Honda Accord. We haven't been able to tell it's gender yet and therefore we haven't decided on a name! What do you think? We are taking suggestions!
Carson has been doing his own laundry for several years. Probably since he was 10 years old. I taught him how to use the washing machine.....just not this kind! I'm sure he will figure it out!!!!
Kyle and Carson's missionary plaques hanging together at church for just a little while. We are excited to have Carson serving and Kyle home now. Kyle's plaque will come down next week when he speaks in church.
We picked Kyle up at the airport this morning. It is fun to have him back home for just a little while. He was sad to be released tonight. Great job Kyle! We are so proud of you!
We traveled to Spokane to attend my Grandpa Whittle's 100th birthday party. His birthday was on December 26th. Almost all of his family was able to be there for the party. We had a fun time and hope he makes it several more years! Grandpa isn't hoping for that! He even got a letter from the President of the US.
Our Christmas seemed small this year without Kyle and Carson. We had an enjoyable Christmas morning opening gifts and later on in the day went to the airport to head to Spokane for a visit.
